Purpose of the school
IKS Classical Karst creates a meeting place for early-career and established karst researchers from around the world. Participants share new work through lectures and posters, exchange ideas across disciplines and experience research questions directly in the field.
Afternoon and full-day excursions connect each edition’s scientific topic with key sites of Classical Karst. The final excursion traditionally presents the wider karst landscape and its most important features.
